There are two ways to host someone: one is to make the guest completely independent, so that they are free and the host doesn’t even need to introduce themselves, the other is to welcome them, taking the time to have a chat whenever possible, and offering them the chance to get to know and love the land just as someone who lives there every day would. Both alternatives might cost the same, but they will never hold the same value.

We’re Ilaria and Matteo, two young adventurers, deeply in love with our land and passionate about sports, nature and outdoor life.

Villa Essenza is our little dream come true: a B&B that’s part of a broader project we’ve called Wonders, because we believe in the beauty and wonder of experiencing a place through movement, simplicity, and genuine connection.
Our goal is to promote a kind of tourism that is active, sustainable, and people-centered, for travelers who enjoy exploring on foot or by bike, who want to truly immerse themselves in the territory, a land that many think they know, but only a few really do.
